ONGOING MUTUAL SUPPORT GROUPS/EVENTS:

  1. Self-support group for postpartum women with a dula. The group is led by the Centre's volunteer dula. In a small, safe group of 3-5 women, women who have given birth meet remotely 1 time per week, about 1.5 hours. During the meetings, women safely share the issues of motherhood that are most relevant to them at that time: breastfeeding, primacy, sleeping, education, other issues of caring for the child, various relationship challenges with loved ones, etc. It helps them to discover the answers, to feel more courageous in their motherhood. These groups are continuous. We offer to join her to all those who have given birth, who have not yet experienced emotional difficulties after giving birth, but want to share, ask questions, communicate, learn. Since the groups are remote, women can join together to feed, sleep, or otherwise care for the child. There are no difficulties in adjusting to the very individual rhythms of the child's day. 2. Exhibition "How good it is that you were born." The exhibition is exhibited at the Social Services Center in Jonava.
